10am

Having finally moved to a major city one of my top goals was getting a room in which natural lighting and white walls made a sufficient space for boudoir shoots, as opposed to having to scout places for them on every shoot.

Having chosen the smaller of the two rooms in my duplex because it faced East, I at first did not know how wise this decision was because of the relatively small size of the room and the fact that sunrise lighting wasn’t as ideal as I had hoped.

My mood changed about my room when a favorite collaborator of mine, Julia came by for a shoot at 10am.

Something clicked

In my head in regards to my room and it’s lighting. I may not have direct sunrise lighting, but the light from 9am-11am should work just fine with a little creativity and craft on my part.

This was an essential stepped that was realized in my short photography life, and I appreciate Julia for helping me realize it.
