I met my man Michael Mitchell while working a bartending gig in Dallas and we immediately hit it off.
He told me he was from the central coast of California and I, having lived across the country in Georgia my entire life, immediately associated this area as the central valley. However between our extensive chats from all manner of things from philosophy and lifestyle choices (he was living out of his Toyota Tacoma at the time) to photography and music (Our two hobbies respectfully). I, being from a small landlocked town on the opposite coast, California always felt like a world away that I wasn't sure when I'd be able to visit, so the memories of actually being there stick in my head like glue.
Throughout our friendship I took to capturing photos of the back of his head / hair quite a bit.Two of which are some of my favorites I have ever taken
